Friday, 12.30.11

Warm Up: 500m row, 400m run, 3 rounds of: band stretch and overhead squats, sampson stretch, 5 kipping pullups

SWOD: Thruster Go for 1rm

85x1, 95x1, 105x1, 115x1, 125x1 (PR)

I wanted to try 130 because I think I could have done it, but I didnt want to hurt myself right before we did "Fran." Plus, 125 was already a PR for me.

This was a huge PR from my last time of 8:27! I did take longer breaks than I should have though, so I probably could have gotten under 6 minutes, but I really think I would have puked if I did! ON my set of 21, I did 17 thrusters with no breaks.....next time, I want to do all 21 unbroken. The other sets I took two breaks. For pullups, I did 8 in a row and that was my longest, My other sets were 6's, 5's, 4's and 3's when I started getting tired.
